The Sue Gray report was finally released in full, and its detail made difficult reading for the Prime Minister.
It lays bare the rot that has infected 10 Downing Street – one of the great symbols of British democracy – under Boris Johnson’s leadership. The buck stops with him, and his government has again and again treated the sacrifices of the British people with utter contempt.
Britain deserves better. Many Conservative MPs said they were waiting for this report. Now it has been released, it shows how seriously this Prime Minister has demeaned his office. I hope they agree with me that it’s time for him to go.
