Protests in Iran have entered their ninth week. These protests, led by brave women and girls, are calling for an end to state violence and for ordinary Iranians to be able to live their lives as they choose.

There have also been horrific reports that detained protestors have been sentenced to death in Iran.

The UK must stand unequivocally against the death penalty, and we must also take steps to protect journalists and UK nationals critical of the Iranian regime.
