Inflation has risen to 9%, the highest in 40 years, and the Conservative Government is still failing to protect people from the cost of living crisis as prices soar and oil and gas companies rake in record profits.
I voted for a windfall tax on oil and gas producers to cut household bills and an Emergency Budget to tackle the cost of living crisis now. Conservative MPs voted against these measures as the Government continues to sit on its hands.
