Millions of people are struggling to get appointments, as the NHS heads into this winter with more people waiting for treatment than at any time in its history.

It’s clear that 12 years of Conservative failure has left the NHS on the brink.

That’s why on Tuesday I voted to abolish non-dom status and instead use that money to train a new generation of nurses, midwives and doctors to treat patients on time again.

I believe patients need more doctors’ appointments and more NHS staff than the wealthiest need a tax break.
