This World Mental Health Day, it was great to see Labour reaffirm our commitment to give mental health the same priority as physical health. A Labour government will transform mental health support in the UK by:
- Guaranteeing treatment within a month
- Recruiting 8,500 new mental health staff
- Early intervention in every community
- Specialist support in every school
- Improve service quality and give mental health its fair share of funding
