I took part in my colleague Taiwo Owatemi MP’s debate on family courts. This is something a number of constituents have made me aware of and I have been raising on their behalf.

It can be deeply distressing and it was therefore very moving to hear the debate and speak up on behalf of my constituents, including those in Westminster Hall for the debate.

I spoke on their behalf about issues with Cafcass, the impact of delays and backlogs in the courts, and parental alienation.
