I visited Great Northern’s depot for a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the new high-tech digital signalling system which will be operational on all 717trains going through Enfield Southgate in the next few years. I even got to try my hand at the simulator.
As a commuter myself, it was also good to hear about the new timetable that will be in operation from Sunday 15th May.
