It was very moving to join Labour Friends of Yemen’s vigil for peace with the local Yemeni community in Liverpool. The war in Yemen is now in its 8th year and millions of lives continue to be at risk.
The UK must support the UN-brokered truce and provide humanitarian aid to civilians so a lasting peace can be built.
