There was an important policy announcement this week from Labour, as Anneliese Dodds and Angela Rayner outlined our new proposals to support women at work.

The next Labour Government will require large employers to produce action plans to support women going through the menopause. They will be required to write, publish and submit menopause action plans alongside their gender pay gap reporting each year.

Estimates suggest one million women who work during the menopause could leave their jobs in the next year alone due to their symptoms. These simple changes will mean employers can stop this from happening.
