It was great to join Labour’s National Campaign Day with our local campaign teams in Arnos Grove and Southgate.
On the doorstep, it was clear that people are fed up with the chaos at the top of the Conservative Party. As interest rates rise to the highest level in 30 years, people in our community will now face higher mortgages and even more financial pressure and anxiety in the months ahead.
Alongside door knocking sessions, we also had a street stall outside Southgate Station – and if the popularity of the cupcakes are anything to go by, then we can expect a big rise in support at the next general election!
