It was fantastic to join the Platinum Jubilee celebrations across our local community.

From judging crowns and cakes to the incredible community jubilee collage displayed in Stitch in Palmers Green Post Office, it was a fabulous few days celebrating this historic event.

Before the celebrations got underway, it was great to see the Jubilee Collage put together by Stitch and Inspirational Embroidery, with funding from the London Community Fund.

A big thanks to Suzanne, Jill and all the team at Stitch for organising such a wonderful community project and to all the local groups and schools who took part.

On Friday, the street parties started and I had a fantastic day meeting residents in Conway and Ulleswater.

It was lots of fun, and very tough judging the best crown competition. It was also a pleasure to be able to give a toast to the organisers, the local community and also to her Majesty the Queen for her incredible 70 years of public service.

I also joined the fabulous street party in Osborne Road on Sunday, where I had the pleasure of awarding Cleo 1st prize in the Osborne Road Bake Off for this amazing cake.

A big thank you to organisers across Enfield for bringing everyone together in this way.
