The execution of British-Iranian man Alireza Akbari is a barbaric act of politically motivated murder by the Iranian regime.
I spoke from the despatch box on behalf of Labour and urged the UK Government to take robust action against the Iranian regime, including proscribing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which is behaving like a terrorist organisation and poses a growing threat here in the UK.
