It was brilliant to meet with students and teachers from Eversley Primary School twice in May.
Firstly, I welcomed pupils into Westminster for a great Q&A about politics, parliament and of course my role as an MP. It was wonderful to meet them all and they were an absolute credit to their school.
Then, I had the pleasure of visiting the school with the Shadow Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson. We met Year 5&6 pupils for a Q&A and had a very productive morning discussing the importance of education for the next Labour government with teachers.
Thank you to everyone from Eversley for organising these two visits!
