As COP26 continues in Glasgow, I’m proud to support my colleague Fleur Anderson’s Bill to ban plastic in wet wipes. We use 11 billion wet wipes a year in the UK and 90% of them contain plastic.
I’m supporting the Bill so we can stop needlessly endangering 700 species of birds and fish in our rivers and oceans.
