Children’s futures are being put at risk because this Government continues to ignore the rising demand for mental health services. Last year, 3 in 4 children referred to mental health services were not seen within four weeks.
I’m backing Labour’s plan to secure the future of mental health services, including:
– Treatment within a month and an end to agonising waiting lists for treatment
– Specialist mental health support in every school
– Open access mental health hubs in every community
