Like many I was deeply shocked by the disturbing report of a 15-year old Black girl being subjected to a strip-search by police whilst at school in 2020.
I joined London Labour MPs in writing to Priti Patel to stand in support of the victim and her family and demand answers from the police and government about how this incident was allowed to happen.
