Disabled children are living without the essential equipment they need due to delays in assessment. Without vital equipment, such as wheelchairs, beds, and specialist seating, children’s conditions worsen resulting in complex surgery or interventions which could have been prevented.
I recently met a family in Enfield Southgate affected by lack of specialist equipment and raised their concerns with the Government during Business Questions.
