I had the pleasure of meeting the families of British detainees being held in Iran in Parliament, including Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Anoosheh Ashoori’s families, alongside Amnesty International and my Labour colleagues Tulip Siddiq and Janet Daby.
As Shadow Minister for Middle East and North Africa, I pledged my support to do all we can to ensure the safe return of all the detainees.
