Health and Safety Issue in Wood Green Sorted

Earlier this month, one of my constituents emailed me to report a lamppost in Wood Green that appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. The lamppost was partially uprooted and unstable, posing a significant risk to roadusers and pedestrians if it were to fall.

I am extremely grateful to the Wood Green resident for raising this with me. I was able to contact Haringey Council to request they take action. Following this, the Council confirmed that the site had been visited by a contractor and is now safe.

Antisocial Behaviour Issue Resolved in Southgate

At the end of last year, a group of constituents living in Southgate contacted me and reported antisocial behaviour and noise nuisance caused by a neighbour. This was incredibly distressing for the residents involved, and the issue was impacting their daily lives, causing sleepless nights and constant anxiety.

I was deeply concerned to hear that these reports from multiple residents had not been acted on by their housing association. As soon as this issue was raised with me, I contacted their housing association, Enfield Council, and their property managers.

Since then, the residents have shared with me that the noise has completely stopped and there has been no public antisocial behaviour.

This is just one example of how I can support constituents in Southgate and Wood Green.
