Question to the Secretary of State for Education
On Monday the 9th of December 2024, I asked the Secretary of State for Education what steps her Department were taking to ensure that the pay, heavy workloads, and poor working environments left behind by the previous Government no longer push valued teachers out of the profession.

Debt Relief (Developing Countries) Bill

On Wednesday 13th November, I presented my Debt Relief (Developing Countries) Bill to Parliament. Above are the highlights of my speech.
If passed, this Bill would:
- Compel private creditors to actively participate in the debt relief process and accept the same terms as other lenders.
- Reduce the burden of debt for the poorest countries.
- Cost the Treasury absolutely nothing.
